WHO WE ARE

The Directors Alliance was founded by Executive Producer Nick Uemura in 2009. We are partnered with The Directors Network in Los Angeles, founded by talent agent Steve Lewis.
The Directors Alliance is a full service Film Production Company for TV Commercial, Feature Film and Branded Video Content. We pride ourselves on professional client service and our dedication to the perfect production. Our value is demonstrated by our commitment to the global brands we call our clients. If you have a passion project, we are always open to hear your pitch.
Executive Producer Nick Uemura started his career in 1984 with a micro-budget independent feature film that saw worldwide success in many film festivals. Nick set himself apart in the Japanese film industry for high end producing including everything from super low budget music videos to a $60 million budget Japanese feature film. Nick is also an experienced traveler, discovering new destinations and new friends. The world is his filming location. Nick lived in the traditional way of his Tokyo family, but internationally minded, felt like he was raised by American Films and TV. Nick was also the Japanese producer of G4TV’s “Attack Of The Show” for many years, presenting Japanese pop culture to US audiences.
The Director’s Alliance’s selects experienced, high-end crews only. We don’t hire those who create problems. The Director’s Alliance works exclusively toward the goals of our clients. Please see our reels which demonstrate the quality and variety of our filmmaking.
